Reasons I Love Being a Woman

Oh, I just cannot imagine being a man!  I mean really... They do have a few priviledges that I'd like to take advantage of, e.g. higher salaries (yes, they do still get more pay!) they can get away with wearing the same suit several times a week, they don't spend a whole lot of time grooming.  That said; I do love to dress up, I do love to shop for those clothes we must not wear too frequently, and I do love being a woman!

For Jenn's CJ, I created these two pages...

North Carolina

Easter weekend, some of my family gathered in North Carolina to witness and celebration my niece's wedding.  All of us stayed in a beautiful cabin near the top of Black Mountain.  One morning I ventured out on my own and captured some amazing photos on a short hike.  I can't believe my little point and shoot camera got these and this is the resulting layout.

And for those of you who don't visit the MMBoard, here's one LO of Heather's wedding.

Why I Love Summer

Once again, I am challenged by the topic!  There are SO many reasons to love summer.  Sunshine!  Warm weather and loose, comfy clothes - shoes optional.  Don't you just love walking through soft grass with bare feet?  Outdoor activities - camping, swimming, biking.  Bright colors and fragrant flowers.  The smell of freshly cut grass, backyard barbeques, and sunscreen.  The juicy taste of a ripe peach; watermelon seed spittin' contests.  And the sounds of the ice cream truck, cicadas & crickets chirping, Saturday morning lawn mowers.  The senses are almost overloaded during summer!

Mostly, I love sharing the love of Christ with girls at FCKids' Camp.  It's an amazing week of activity and pure love that I look forward to every year.  Love is a great word to describe this week at camp.

Here are my CJ pages on just a few reasons I love summer...

Repurposed Items

Oops - we were supposed to include FOUR things we've repurposed for scrapbooking.  Well, I re-use, recycle, repurpose anything that I can.  Looking around, there are more containers than I can count; in all shapes and sizes.  Almost all of them have been altered in some fashion.  In the vain of conservation and the fact that the pages are finished, I'm only going to include three photos on my page.  You can play "where's Waldo?" in the photo of my korner.  Many repurposed items will be found.  Happy hunting!
